The Second International Interdisciplinary Faculty Forum of the University of Chicago and the University of Tokyo: Perspectives on Big Data

As part of a continuing series of cooperative events scheduled between the University of Chicago and the University of Tokyo, the Second International Interdisciplinary Faculty Forum will be held on March 12, 2018 in Chicago. Leading scholars from both universities working in physics, medicine, computer science, the social sciences, and the humanities will present on their recent work as related to the central topic of “Big Data”. Each discussion will also be opened to all participants to explore the range and possibilities of the topic at hand. The goal of this event is to develop a truly international and interdisciplinary set of conversations which will inspire further research and cooperation.
